Welcome to Capo Sound — the online portfolio for Greg Capolino. I am an Emmy® nominated mixer & sound designer, editor, recording engineer, producer, and musician. I have worked in almost every format of professional audio, from album production to television/film/radio to AAA video games.
Bit by the music bug in childhood, I spent my formative years studying music and playing guitar with dedicated fervor. When the time came, I enrolled in the award-winning Music & Sound Recording Technology program at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell from which I earned my BM. Over the last 20 years, I have worked in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles in a wide variety of settings including production, post-production, and game development. I have sat in studios with brilliant songwriters, recorded world-renowned voice-over actors, worked around the clock with directors, hit home runs for advertising producers, and helped shape genre-defining video games. I am passionate about bringing things to life with sound; I am fortunate to be able to say “I love what I do.”
